Frywall Makes Your Life Easier
I originally purchased a frywall for my 12 inch pan and liked it so much that I bought this one for my 11 inch pan. It is a fabulous product. When you sauté or fry food, it splashes all over the stove. The frywall prevents the splashing and makes your cleanup so much easier. Then you just put it in your dishwasher and it comes out clean and ready for another use. I definitely recommend this product!
Splatter Baaaaaaad!
Frywall goooooood!
Works well, but..
Definitely reduces grease splatter. It appears to reduce splatter by more than 90%. I have two issues though. First, I have an 11'' and a 12". The 11" is the best fit for my large Lodge cast iron skillet, but it is slightly small as the bottom lip of the Frywall could go beyond the bottom of the skillet. Bacon often lays on the edge of the Frywall. An 11.5" would be a better fit for the Lodge, but I don't see this size. The 11" fits perfect on my stainless skillet. The bottom edge is about half way up the side of this skillet. Second, cleaning is difficult at best. It doesn't realistically fit into the dishwasher. It isn't firm enough to hold its shape for hand washing making it difficult to get clean. Since the bottom edge sits in the bottom of the Lodge, it gets dirty.
