I'm Yair Reiner, founder and CEO of Gowanus Kitchen Lab. I invented Frywall in my kitchen in Brooklyn, NY. I'd always loved cooking but hated cleaning the stovetop afterwards. A particularly splattersome duck breast drove me to find a solution. I made the first Frywall for myself, from a two-part silicone paste bought over the Internet.
